Features

Captures drifts caused by tsunami

By installing them on quays and seawalls at boundaries between sea and land, it will exclusively capture drifting objects during a tsunami, preventing disasters caused by impact and diffusion of drifting objects.

Efficient energy absorption mechanism

Steel pipes with excellent shock absorption performance are used for the posts, and wire ropes serve as the capturing screens. Stretching of the wire rope, dent deformation of the steel pipe, and deformation of the beam absorb the impact energy of drifts.

High safety

In addition to protection against collision with drifting objects, we have confirmed the safety of barrier resisting against the drag force when the capturing screen is blocked by drifting objects.

Foundation profile adjusted to ground conditions

The direct foundation or pile foundation supports posts so that the external force acting on the barrier can be safely transferred. The pile foundation employs a socket-type connection for an efficient pile design to secure construction quality while reducing the diameter and length of posts.
