Due to standardized and lightweight members, they are easy to transport and install. In addition, the filling work can be performed by a machine, which shortens the construction period.

By employing panels welded with angle bar and round bar as the main members, the structure has high surface rigidity.

As is the case for conventional gabion works, cobblestones, crushed stones, gravel, etc. are used as filling materials. Further, existing excavated earth and sand can be used as filling materials, which minimizes surplus soil generated during construction.

Using a highly rigid panel, this work suffers little expansion or deformation caused by filling materials; further, the finished work is more robust than conventional gabion work, and its appearance looks reassuring.
