The effective design absorbs the kinetic energy caused by falling rocks thanks to the deformation energy of the wire rope, wire net, and struts. If the expected energy of a rock fall is large, the use of shock absorbers can efficiently absorb the energy.

In snowy areas, snow falls on the rockfall fence and may damage the top of the wire net. In order to cope with the accumulation of snow, we also offer a snow-resistant type that has upper chord members installed on the top of the wire net to prevent it from sinking.

The simple structure of the members allows partial replacement of damaged rockfall fence. The fence installed along roads near slopes with a risk of falling rocks makes it easy to remove fallen rocks and perform regular maintenance.

The JFE rockfall protection fence offers two types of variation. Depending on the conditions of the installation site, you can select use of a larger terminal post or an additonal tension reduction device in combination with the standard terminal post.
